Individual and group reading support designed to be consistent, encouraging, and responsive to the learner.
Initial Consultation
A no-obligation opportunity to meet, talk through the reading concerns you are seeing, and decide whether tutoring may be a good fit.
$50
Student or parent sessions scheduled from 9am–2pm.
$60
Student or parent sessions scheduled from 3pm–6pm.
$35
25-minute online tutoring session.
One-on-One Tutoring
Individual reading instruction for children and adults. Sessions generally last about 40–50 minutes and can include decoding, spelling, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and related literacy skills as needed.
Group Tutoring
$25 per session. Thursday-morning group sessions have been offered in 12-week bundles. Contact us for current group availability before registering.
Parent Group Class
$25 per session. “Teach Your Struggling Reader” has been offered Wednesdays from 2:45–3:25pm in 12-week bundles. Ask about the current parent-class schedule.
Parents Welcome
Parents may observe tutoring so that the same language, cues, and encouragement can carry into home practice. The aim is to make home support clearer—not heavier.
Consistency Matters
Dyslexia Tutor Fort Wayne generally recommends three to four sessions per week, with a minimum of two sessions per week, because repeated practice helps skills become more automatic.
Materials
Materials used during tutoring are provided, and some practice materials may be sent home. Sessions may also incorporate games or simple motivational tools when they help a student stay engaged.
